Julie Shapiro

Hi my name is Julie Shapiro and I am excited to be part of the Tustin Hills Racquet & Pickleball Club teaching pros staff and getting to know all of you. I am both certified IPTPA pickleball and U.S.P.T.A tennis pro. I took up pickleball in June of 2022 and absolutely love the sport. My sister Jennifer Lyons and I currently play 4.5 doubles and have won a few tournaments. Our goal is to move up to senior pros.

My background: 1st tennis player to be inducted into Hall of Fame Orange Coast College, All American and National Champs Cal Poly Pomona. Held number one rankings in senior tennis in doubles with sister Jennifer Lyons in the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s and have won 6 Gold Balls.
